If you are having a latest QLED TV of Samsung or the NU8000 LED TV, then you should be able to have a cleaner look of your gaming endeavors after a recent firmware update.

The company has confirmed that it has applied updates to the Q6FN, Q7FN, Q8FN and Q9FN QLED models along with the NU8000.

Now, those TVS are able to use FreeSync tool o AMD, this FreeSync tool has the ability to reduce screen shuttering and tearing quite similar to G-Sync tech of NVIDIA.

In the past FreeSync was only applicable on monitors like Ultrawide 49-inch display of Samsung.

After the update of last month, the XboX One S and X can now suppot this feature as well and PCs having AMD graphics card will also have the ability to use this feature.

One thing you need to keep in mind is that, FreeSync limits the resolution of some TVs to 1080, this may cause some brightness issues.

But, for now you are having two options to choose between sharper visuals or smoother gameplay.

After, you updated the firmware, you will then be able to toggle the feature in game mode settings of your TV.
