GeekBench listing is always trustworthy, the listing shows that Samsung is going to add a mini version of its latest flagship phone Galaxy S9 in the family.
The Samsung Galaxy S9 Mini appears to be incoming and despite the name it is shaping up to be a big hit for specs.
The last mini version was launched by Samsung was the Galaxy S5 mini in 2014. According to the benchmark test, SM-G8750 is Galaxy S9 mini if the listing is legitimate, will have Snapdragon 660 mobile platform and the chipset carries an Octa-Core CPU and the Adreno 512 GPU.
The Geekbench test also revealed that the Galaxy S9 mini will have 4GB of RAM and will be powered by Android Oreo. The phone will support a 5-inch display with an edge to edge design and an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. Other specs are not clear but we’re hoping for a 5-inch Infinity Display and a decent front and rear camera combo, at least.
Let’s hope that the Galaxy S9 carries a 3000mAh battery because there is no battery information in the list.
Since there was three months gap between the release of the Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S5 mini, we might not see Galaxy S9 mini until June or July.
