Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 appeared on Geekbench

Samsung is planning on releasing their Galaxy Tab A8 leaked in mid-September. A Geekbench listing confirms the device’s status and is ready to be released in the market. The leaked information also reveals hardware detail.

The Wi-Fi version is SM-X200. On the other hand, the LTE variant has the model name SM-X205. The difference between both is primarily 4G connectivity.

As per the Geekbench listing, Wi-Fi and LTE variants are running on Unisoc Tiger T618 chipset with two Cortex-A75 cores running at 2.0GHz and 6x Cortex-A55 cores clocking at 1.8 GHz. The onboard GPU in Unisoc T618 is Mali-G52 MP2.

The device in the Geekbench listing has 3GB of RAM, but we’re also expecting a 4GB variant, combined with 128GB of internal storage.
