Samsung introduces the Galaxy Tab S4 along with the Galaxy Tab A 10.5

Samsung is unveiling the Galaxy Tab S4 and Galaxy Tab A 10.5 before the Note 9 unpacked event.

The Tab S4 is the first tab to come with Samsung Dex, which allows users to switch from the Android interface to a desktop interface.

Samsung introduces the Galaxy Tab S4 along with the Galaxy Tab A 10.5.

Samsung Electronics president said: “We are introducing a premium S4 tablet, equipped with Samsung Dex that helps consumer perform their best wherever they go. We look forward to providing our customers with a sense of leisure and comfort knowing that this new addition to our ecosystem of connected devices is also packed with features to help them stay entertained.”

The new tablet is coming with Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB or 128GB native storage which is expandable up to 400GB with a microSD card.

The Tablet is powered by a 7,300mAh battery and equipped with an S Pen, which has 0.7mm fine tip and can detect 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity to allow a more natural and intuitive writing and drawing feel.

There is a 13MP main camera and an 8MP front-facing camera. The tablet has four Dolby Atmos speakers on all corners of the tablet.

The Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is another tablet introduced along with Tab S4 which supports multiple accounts so parents can manage their children’s content with the Kid Mode.

The New tablet has a 10.5 inches WUXGA (1,200 x 1,920 pixels) LCD screen, with a 16:10 screen-to-body ratio with slim bezels, enhances parental control and new home connectivity.

Jason Lee, director, and head of the tablet products said: “the Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is the perfect complement for the modern household.”

The tablet is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory which is expandable.

The tablet has 8MP main camera and 5MP front camera with Flash.

The tablet is running on the Android 8.1 and sustained by a 7,300mAh battery.
