In the ad, the company highlighted a Chinese couple using Shan Masala.In the ad, a Chinese couple is living in Lahore and feels abandoned in a different environment because of social, cultural, language and food barriers.
For communicating with her Pakistani neighbors, the Chinese wife planned to cook a Pakistani dish and share it with her neighbors. She picked up Shan’s biryani masala and after making Pakistani food dish, she shared it with her neighbors.
This video has gone viral and recorded over 3.3 million views on the company’s Facebook page and 800,000 views on its Youtube channel in 3 days.
Few popular Facebook pages and Youtube also shared the ad on their timelines. The company has also paid for Facebook advertisement for promoting ad to more people.
