Snapchat’s Map Explore makes it easier to find your friends

It is reported that Snapchat has been introducing a new feature that will make it easy for you to find new events and to see friend’s updates on Snap Map.

Instead of going through the map for noticing the location go your friend or to find an interesting Our Story snap collection, Map Explore will provide you updates for a view and swipe through.

All you need to do is to login into Snapchat and press the screen for opening Snap Map. At the bottom, there is an option named as “New Updates” where you will be able to find new updates from your friends who have turned on share location and updates of Snapchat to his/her Our Story collections.

By swiping to the left you can be able to see the additional updates and even you can see your own status as well. For deleting or turning this option off, you need to go to the settings icon and turn it off or on accordingly.

Snap Map

Last year, the social media introduced Snap Map to allow its users to see what is happening around them and to see what their friends are doing.

Earlier, the Snapchat introduced Snap Map to the web along with the ability to integrate it into other websites.

Snap Map has stated update when user will open the app, if and only if they have turned on the option of share location.

However, the company has also provided an option named as “Ghost Mode” for the users who do not want to share their location. In the next few weeks, the social media will introduce Map Explore.
