Qualcomm announced the Snapdragon 865 chipset during the annual summit in Hawaii. Major vendors and brands of smartphones announce to launch a phone with this SoC inside. Management of Verizon, Motorola, Realme, Oppo, HMD Global, and Xiaomi are already onboard to implement Snapdragon 865 SoC on their phones.

Oppo, Motorola, Xiaomi and Realme confirm they’ll release Snapdragon 865 phones

“In 2020 Q1, Oppo will launch its flagship product using the Snapdragon 865 Mobile Platform, together bringing a faster and superior 5G experience to users,” Oppo president Alen Wu said in a Qualcomm statement.

Juho Sarvikas chief product officer of HMD Global also shares plans to include the latest SoC of Qualcomm, including Snapdragon 865 and 765 in their certain smartphone brands.

Not all of the executives from multiple manufacturers were there in Hawaii. That didn’t mean they have not responded. Gaming wing of nubia Red Magic shared a leak to a smartphone with Snapdragon 865, and Meizu and Realme make a similar announcement. Most of the companies are going to launch the first Snapdragon 865 SoC based smartphone in next year’s Q1.

“We are announcing that starting next week, we’ll be launching Redmi K30 powered by Snapdragon 765, again, (a) 5G-enabled device. Shortly after that will be Mi 10, as I just mentioned, powered by Snapdragon 865.” the CEO noted. The company clarified in a Qualcomm press statement that the Mi 10 will arrive in Q1 2020.

HTC, OnePlus, LG, Nubia, Samsung, and ZTE. Furthermore, the likes of Blackshark, Coolpad, IQOO, Meizu, RedMagic, TCL, etc. are all getting in on the action too.
