    Take a Screenshot on Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus [6 Methods]

    If you own Samsung’s latest flagships Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus and looking for a way to capture screenshots of your Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus, Don’t worry.

    The S9 and S9 Plus has many ways to achieve screenshots. In this article, I will be covering six ways to take screenshots on Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus.

    Take a Screenshot on the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus

    These are the six easiest ways to take a screenshot of your Galaxy S9/S9 Plus device.

    Method 1: Hold the buttons

    1. Navigate to the content.
    2. Press and hold the volume down button and power button simultaneously.

    Method 2: Palm Swipe

    Palm Swipe- all you have to do is swipe the side of your palm from left to right across the display. You have to enable this feature go to Settings > Advance Feature> Palm swipe to capture. Than:

    1. Navigate to the content
    2. Swipe the side of your palm across the display.

    Method 3: Smart Capture

    Method 1 and Method 2 let you capture the entire page after that few options pop up at the bottom of the screen. Select “Scroll Capture” and start tapping on it continue going down the page, the phone will take multiple screenshots then merge them to create final Product.

    The feature has to be enabled, just go to Settings > Advance Feature> Smart Capture. Than: Navigate to the content

    1. Take a screenshot using method 1(Volume button and power button) or Method 2(Palm swipe).
    2. Tap the “Scroll Capture” option that shows up at the button.
    3. Keep pressing the “Scroll Capture” button to continue going down the page.

    Method 4: Bixby

    Bixby lets you take a screenshot with simple voice command, press the Bixby button located below the volume rocker, and say,” Take a Screenshot.”

    You have to set it up by going to Bixby Home > Settings > Voice wake-up. Than:

    1. Navigate to the content
    2. Press and hold the Bixby button or say, “Hi, Bixby.”
    3. Say, “Take a screenshot.”

    Method 5: GA

    Google Assistant is another way to take a screenshot of your Galaxy S9/ S9 Plus. Assistant allows you to give a voice command for taking Screenshot, just press the home button or say “OK GOOGLE” to bring up the google assistant than say “Take a Screenshot.”

    1. Navigate to the content.
    2. Press a home button or say, “OK, Google.”
    3. Say “Take a Screenshot” or type using a keyboard.

    Method 6: Select Smart

    Smart select is useful when you want to capture a specific part of the content. You can take a screenshot in two different shapes (Square or oval) and even create a GIF.

    Open Edge panel, find and tap the Smart Select, choose the shape, select the area, and tap done.
    But you have to enable this by going to Settings > Display > Edge Screen> Edge Panels.

    1. Navigate to the content
    2. Open the Edge panel and choose the Smart Select
    3. Select Shape
    4. Select the area you want to capture
    5. Tap on Done.
