Tecno just announced its latest Camon 18 Premier smartphone, and it is the company’s most advanced yet. Camon 18 carrier 6.7-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and trendy 120Hz refresh rate.
Tecno Camon 18 Premier released with gimbal camera module
The panel has a peak brightness of around 550nits and carries a 32MP selfie camera in a small punch hole. Camon 18 Premier also features a flat design with squared-off edges and a noticeable camera bump on the rear.
The camera setup on the phone is triple, with the primary sensor being 64MP sitting beside a 12MP optically stabilized 12MP gimbal module and 8MP periscope lens with 5x optical and 60x hybrid zoom. We also have a video mode, portrait bokeh mode, and a special super night mode, which, as per the company, can take shots in the dark. Tecno is bringing its own Moon Probe that provides the feature of taking clear snaps of Earth’s natural satellite.
In terms of performance, the Camon 18 Premier is powered by MediaTek Helio G96 paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. There is a side-mounted fingerprint on the phone, and other prominent features include NFC and a headphone jack.
The software section of the phone features Tecno’s Hi OS 8.0 based on Android 11. Camon 18 Premier has a 4,750mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
The phone will be available in the following colors: Polar Night and Vast Sky. The information on the pricing of Camon 18 Premier hasn’t been revealed yet, along with international availability.
