The Realme 9 series began with the 9i, a mid-ranger with only 4G connectivity. Following that were two Pro models (both with 5G), followed by the Realme 9 5G and 9 5G Speed. According to several leaks, this will be followed by a second 4G model, one that is more capable than the 9i.

First and foremost, the Realme 9 (4G) briefly appeared in a list of devices on a realme.com support page. That has since been removed, but not before catching the attention of leaker Yogesh Brar and MySmartPrice. In addition to confirming the phone’s existence, Brar revealed that it may have a 108 MP main camera. As a result, it may become one of the more capable shooters in the 9-series. The Realme 9 Pro+ is the current market leader, with a 50 MP sensor (1/1.56″, 1.0 m) and OIS.

Furthermore, the Realme 9 (RMX3521) is said to have a 16 MP selfie camera, which is on par with the rest of the series. According to previous leaks, the phone will be available in two memory configurations (6/128 GB and 8/128 GB) and three colorways (Sunburst Gold, Meteor Black and Stargaze White).

We don’t know what chipset will power the 4G phone (the 9i has a Snapdragon 680), but unconfirmed information suggests that it will be powered by a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. In terms of those two, the Realme 9 5G costs 15,000 in India, and we expect the 4G model to cost around the same (the less capable 9i costs 13,000).
