CFD Gaming’s PCIe Gen 5.0 NVMe SSDs on Sale in Japan
The 2 TB drive with the id CSSD-M2M2TPG5NFZ can now be bought in Japan for 49,980 Yen, which is about $385 US. Even though this price is slightly higher than the Samsung 990 Pro, which is currently the fastest PCIe Gen 4.0 NVMe SSD, the CFD Gaming drives are well worth the money.
The drives have a high-end active cooler that keeps things cool with a sturdy heatsink and a central fan. The cooler from CFD Gaming also comes with a 20mm fan and a 45cm cable to connect to a 5V connector. If you don’t need the extra cooling, you can run the drives in passive mode as long as the PC case has enough airflow.
The PG5NFZ PCIe Gen 5.0 NVMe SSDs from CFD Gaming also have Smart Data Processing, Predict & Fetch, and SLC Caching. These features make them perfect for demanding applications like gaming and tasks that use a lot of data. The drives use 3D TLC NAND from Micron and have a DDR4 DRAM cache to make sure they work quickly and reliably.
