OnePlus announced the India launch date for the upcoming OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G earlier today. According to the announcement, the successor to last year’s OnePlus Nord CE will be available in the country on February 17th. MySmartPrice has obtained exclusive access to the handset’s full specifications ahead of its launch, courtesy of Ishan Agarwal, a user from the Twitter platform.

In addition, the source confirmed that the upcoming smartphone will receive two major Android updates as well as three years of security updates but will ship with Android 11 out of the box.

The Nord CE 2 will carry over the predecessor’s 6.43″ display as well as the 4,500 mAh battery. The new phone will, however, support 65W SuperVOOC due to the Dimensity 900 chipset’s support for faster-charging rates. This would make the device slightly heavier – 173 grammes – but OnePlus will still be able to maintain a thin body with a 7.8 mm profile.

The new leak also confirms the 64MP primary camera, the 16MP selfie shooter, and the AMOLED panel’s Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Prices are expected to range between INR24,000 ($315/€280) and INR28,000 ($370/€325), but we obviously would not know for sure until the launch next Thursday.
