The brand has scheduled a March 10 launch at 12:30 PM, where we will see two phones: the Realme 9 5G and the Realme 9 5G SE.
The appearance of both units, as well as their 48MP triple cameras, has already been revealed on the company website.
The Snapdragon 778G chipset will power one of the phones, while the Dimensity 810 will power the other.
Both will have dual 5G support and thin, light bodies.
According to the images, the power button doubles as a fingerprint scanner, so LCD displays are a safe bet for the 9 5G and 9 5G SE.
The latter’s panel will have a 144Hz refresh rate, which Realme claims is the “highest in the segment.”
The predecessor Realme 8 5G was priced around $200, so we anticipate the successors to be in the same ballpark.
Realme 9 5G SE main selling point is its SOC.
It is has a Snapdragon 778G 5G SOC, which is a very powerful mid-range 5G chip.
The same SOC powers the Realme GT Master Edition, which costs around Rs 25,000 in India.
Realme claims that this phone will be the fastest 5G phone in its price range, which leads us to believe that it will cost around 20K INR.
