Vivo launched the Y33s in August with the Helio G80 SoC, and today the company unveiled its 5G version, which is powered by the Dimensity 700 chip.

The vivo Y33s 5G ships with Android 12-based OriginOS Ocean and three memory options: 4GB/128GB, 6GB/128GB, and 8GB/128GB. It also contains a microSD slot for up to 1TB of storage expansion.

The Y33s 5G has a 6.51″ LCD screen with a waterdrop notch for the 8MP selfie camera and a 13MP primary camera joined by a 2MP macro unit around the back.

The smartphone has a side-mounted fingerprint reader for biometric authentication and a 5,000 mAh battery that has the capacity to draw up to 18W of power from a USB-C port.

Because the vivo Y33s 5G isn’t a brand-new smartphone, these specifications may sound familiar. It’s a smaller version of the vivo Y55 5G, which was announced in January, with a lower screen resolution and a different camera setup. The detailed specifications of the vivo Y55 5G and Y33s 5G can be found here.

The vivo Y33s 5G is available in three colors and pre-ordered in China via vivo’s official website. The base variant with 4 GigaBytes of RAM and 128GB of storage costs CNY1,299 ($205/€185), and an additional 2GB RAM costs CNY100 ($16/€14). With 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, the most expensive model costs CNY1,599 ($255/€225).
