Tim Cook took a huge paycut in 2016 because Apple lost its mojo

In every year Apple CEO Tim Cook get a cash bonus, which depends on the company performance throughout the year.

In 2014, he got $6.7 million. In 2015, he got $8 million. But 2016 is not a good year, in that year he will get only $5.3 million.

Apple has a dream to beat $223.6 billion earning from 2015, but it fell short,  pulling in just $215.6 billion, with a $60 billion operating income.

Cook fall back to his basic salary, which has $2 million to $3 million in 2016 According to CNET, Cook earned $8.74 million in 2016.

The ‘highpoint’ of the year was the launch of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus – both phones were l upgrades on the previous model, albeit sans headphone jack.For iPhone 7, Apple intends to slash production by ten percent within the first quarter of 2017.

Apple has misplaced its mojo, and they can illustrate the different ways – in its product lineup, in its financial performance… and now, in Tim Cook’s paycheck.
