Vivo’s flagship smartphone series, the Vivo X80, will be released soon. This time, the series is expected to include three devices: the Vivo X80, X80 Pro, and X80 Pro Plus. While there have been numerous leaks concerning the first two devices, information about the Plus model has been scarce. The smartphone’s internals have now been revealed on the Geekbench portal.
The Vivo X80 Pro Plus has the model number V2145, according to Geekbench. The smartphone scores 1209 points in the single-core category and 3330 points in the multi-core category. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, codenamed “taro,” powers the phone.
This matches previous leaks. Furthermore, the smartphone’s chipset operates at 1.78GHz base frequency and 3.00GHz maximum frequency. It has 12GB of RAM and runs the Android 12 operating system.
Aside from that, the smartphone was previously said to have a 6.780-inch LTPO 2.0 AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a Quad-HD+ resolution.
It is expected to have a quad-camera system with a 50MP main lens, a 48MP IMX598 sensor, a 50MP Samsung JN1 lens, and a 50MP JN2 unit at the back. The phone is expected to have a 50MP selfie camera on the front.
The Vivo X80 Pro Plus will be the series’ third phone. The X80 will also be powered by a Dimensity 8000 series chipset, while the X80 Pro will be powered by a Dimensity 9000 SoC.
