Recently, Vivo has been on a roll, releasing seven smartphones this month: the Y21T, V23, V23 Pro, Y33T, Y21e, Y55 5G, and Y21A. Today, vivo introduced a new smartphone, the vivo Y75 5G, bringing a total of eight new smartphones for their users.

The vivo Y75 5G, on the other hand, isn’t an entirely new smartphone. It’s the Y55 5G with more RAM and a higher-resolution selfie camera. The Y55 5G has 4GB RAM and an 8MP selfie camera, whereas the Y75 5G has a 16MP selfie camera and 8GB (+ 4GB virtual) RAM.

The vivo Y75 5G also has a Dimensity 700 SoC, a 6.58″ FullHD+ LCD, Funtouch OS 12 (likely based on Android 11), 128GB storage (expandable up to 1TB), and a rear camera system with 50MP primary, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth units.

The vivo Y75 5G comes with a 5,000 mAh battery that can draw up to 18W of power from a USB-C port. Talking about the phone’s security, it comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for password-free unlocking, which is not a surprising feature.

The Y75 5G is available in India for INR21,990 ($290/€260) through vivo’s official Indian website and partner retail stores in Starlight Black and Glowing Galaxy colors.
