WhatsApp has over 1 billion active monthly users and it is an internet messaging app that has been working to improve its user experience. A news reported by WCCFTech claims that WhatsApp will soon have Dark Mode. The dark mode should be an essential feature by default in all apps and it becomes handy while using your smartphone in night. YouTube, Twitter and few other already have this dark mode in the app. Dark mode makes it easier for users to go darker in the night.
WhatsApp Is Working On A Dark Mode In Its App
As mentioned earlier YouTube, Twitter and Reddit already have dark mode option and WhatsApp seems to be working on it. A user has created a concept theme in the same thread on twitter under @WAVetaInfo’s tweet. Here’s how WhatsApp’s Dark Mode could look like.
There are several advantages of using Dark Theme in apps and one of the most important is battery life. How? Here’s the answer OLED displays need more power to push colors other than black that could potentially increase battery timing. Not just that Dark Mode is perfect for smartphone usage in the night time. Using higher brightness can result in several disadvantages during the night and most common is discomfort. Dark mode is kind of cool in my perspective because black is the most common color.
I’m happy to exclusively give the good news: WhatsApp is finally working on a Dark Mode! It’s a dream 😍
There are many important secret references in recent updates!
Be patient to see it out, hoping it will be FULL OLED friendly for Android phones, iPhone X and newer!
