The elites and business tycoons of Pakistan might have their inner circle for communication, but in a somewhat surprising move, 100 Well known CEO’s of Pakistan have joined a WhatsApp group to collaborate.
This WhatsApp group is named “Club 100-Senior Executives Network”, was created back on last Saturday at a dinner, there were several CEO’s present including Arif Habib, A. F. Fergouson’s Sabbar Zaidi and Samad Dawood.
So, now you might be wondering who’s idea was this? Zeeshan Afzal the executive Directory and HOCFI Banking at Arif Habib Corporation created the group and in a statement he said:
“This platform is not for networking or pursuing self-interests. These are some of the best minds in the country. So much could be gained from their experience. So they are talking about agriculture, education and health.”
The Facebook-owned WhatsApp Messenger is easily the most popular app for messaging, only beaten by Facebook itself. WhatsApp groups have proven to be a really big hit among the youth generation as well as the adults. They provide a number of customizable options and encourage collaboration between a whole lot of people without making it any more complicated than talking to a single person. But this approach of creating a WhatsApp group to encourage collaboration between some of the best and most successful minds in the country is quite unheard of, and is really a unique approach.
You might be wondering why there are only 100? This is because WhatsApp’s limit is 100, after the creation of group there were 100 entries in days. Users are complainting about this problem and the members of group as well, they are looking for an app without limit of adding new members.
WhatsApp group or not, it is good to see the some of the most established minds in Pakistan collaborating among themselves.
