Google Doodle celebrates parent company’s 17th birthday on September 27, but the date has varied over the years.
Google is celebrating its 17th birthday with nostalgic birthday-doodle harking back to the web of the 1990s.
The image, featuring a retro, plastic PC, lava lamp and even 1998’s “Google!” Logo, features on Google’s homepage on September 27, which the internet giant has retroactively chosen as its birthday.

It seems to be that Google itself is not aware of when it was formed they celebrated their birthday on 26th of September till 2005, but after that they are celebrating their birthday on 27th of September.
On 29 Sept, the company will be having its first major event under Sundar Pichai to unveil the new Nexus devices and we can’t wait to hear about how Google will function from now on.
