Today, it is reported that Wi-tribe has crossed 200Mbps internet speed record following testing on its LTE-Advanced (LTE-A), which is expected to be released soon as proclaimed by the company.

For now, the company is making a network up-gradation through which the company will be able to offer LTE-Advanced to its users and subscribers in Lahore and Karachi.
After these two cities, the company plans to expand its services to all other cities of Pakistan. This latest up gradation is also a part of the company’s $100 million investment that will be made in 3 years time span.
According to the company, this investment will allow wi-tribe to offer high-end broadband speeds in the country followed by different value added services as provided by the company.
Apparently, Pakistan is the only country in the Middle East and South Asia to use LTE-A and delivers 4.5G speeds. Therefore, End users can be able to watch Ultra HD contents without buffering.

While we don’t intend to offer 200Mbps speeds to our customers, we will nonetheless be offering some very high-speeds & high-volume packages, which cater to all customer needs”,
