Windows 10 adds ‘Do Not Disturb’ feature


Well, if you belong to the group of Windows Insider Fast Ring, then you will be able to find Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 17074, which is currently available to everyone for download. Moreover, the company has added a new feature named as Quiet Hours.

This feature works similar to the Do Not Disturb feature of Mac. The users can be able to set their own schedule for setting notifications hours.

Which means that you can receive notifications from different apps and people on your priority list during these hours.

The feature has the ability to automatically switch on when the users are playing DirectX game and when they are duplicating their display.

Few other improvements have also been added to this build. Maximum of these improvements are related to the reading experience within Windows 10. New grammar tools have been included for both Reading View on websites and EPUB books.

Moreover, Microsoft Edge has been assigned anew look for reading across EPUBs, PDFs and other documents along with a syncing reading progress and notes across devices. Support for custom audio in EPUB has also been introduced in this build version.

This build also includes an option for never saving a password for a domain. This feature is highly requested feature among Windows Insiders. As it allows you to autofill passwords and using extensions when using InPrivate mode.

Moreover,  few fixes have been included for Near Share to make them more reliable. In Windows 10 blog, the company has posted a complete list of improvements that are part of this build.
