Mike Ybarra, head of platform engineering for Xbox, has revealed some of the gaming-oriented improvements coming to the Windows 10 Creators Update later this year.
Microsoft has been thinking about the PC gamers. There will be a “Game Mode” which will increase the performance of thee game- both traditional Win32 games and new UWP games from the Windows Store.
As this feature is easily accessible on Xbox one with single press of button. It has been said that other improvements has been released previously, which include integrated streaming to Beam for both Microsoft and Xbox one.This will use an Xbox Live account and require no additional software.
On the Xbox One, you’ll also see an enhanced, always-available Guide with faster access to game recording and music controls, an Achievement tracking overlay, a new look for Cortana and a Gamerscore leaderboard.
Both of the platforms will get Xbox Live upgrades which will allow you to connect with your friends on social network,for example by allowing Looking For Groups posts to be shared in your feed when you’re looking for people to play with.
Xbox Live Arena will integrate both professional tournaments, such as those organized by ESL and FACEIT, and allow creation of private tournaments with friends and members of your Club.
