Xiaomi introduced its Mi Max 2 last year, so it’s been exactly one year but the sequel is likely to be announced later than we have been used to. The next flagship Xiaomi Mi Max 3 will be officially introduced in July and will be launched on the market after a month, in August.
Last year, the Mi Max 2 landed on the market in June, so the expectations are that the Xiaomi is going to reveal its latest Mi Max 3 around the same time, but that’s not going to happen. According to the reports, Xiaomi has a launch event this month but the Chinese company won’t announce its Mi Max 3.
Xiaomi’s CEO, Lei Jun added
“The Phablet is not yet ready for prime time and that the Mi Max 3 will be introduced sometime in July.”
Unfortunately, Major specs are not confirmed officially, but there are leaks and rumors.
According to the latest leaks, Xiaomi Mi Max 3 will have mid-range specs, the device is going to support mid-range processor Snapdragon 636, 3GB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage.
There are rumors that the device will have a version which will feature Snapdragon 660 Chipset is going to be introduced but the smartphone will come in different variations depending on the amount of memory.
Let talk about the display, the device will feature huge 7-inch FHD+ display and dual camera setup on the back.
Lei Jun said on Weibo
“Buy Mi Max 2 right now, if you can’t wait for the new Mi Max 3.”
If you want to wait, you will have to wait for at least two more months.
