Xiaomi’s flagship wearables were unveiled on stage alongside the global debut of the Xiaomi 12 series. The Xiaomi Watch S1 is the brand’s most premium smartwatch to date, with a sapphire glass screen and stainless steel body, as well as all of the health and fitness tracking, features you’d expect. Both of Xiaomi’s new smartwatches feature 1.43-inch AMOLED displays, with sapphire glass protection on the vanilla S1.
They also share the same PPG heart rate sensor, SpO2 reader, and the ability to track your sleep. Both have 5ATM water resistance and fitness tracking for over 117 sports modes. The new watches feature dual-band GNSS positioning and can accept Bluetooth calls from your connected smartphone. NFC support for contactless payments is also market-dependent.
Both watches have 470mAh batteries that should last up to 12 days in standby mode. Xiaomi Buds 3T Pro includes ANC, which should cancel out up to 40dB of ambient noise. They have a triple microphone system, 10mm dual-magnet dynamic drivers, and support LHDC 4.0, which can deliver audio at up to 900 kbps bitrate.
They also support the SBC and AAC codecs and multi-device pairing with up to two devices at the same time. The buds are dust and water-resistant, with a 6-hour rated battery life extended to 24 hours with the charging case. They can be charged using USB-C or wirelessly through any Qi charger. The earphones and case are both IP55 water and dust-resistant.
The Xiaomi S1 Active and Buds 3T Pro will cost $199, while the Watch S1 will cost $269. Dates of availability are yet to be determined.
