From the past few years, Charging Technology has boosted up many levels. As time passes, we are witnessing that charging technology has been upgrading to a faster and faster level.
Here we have good examples of OnePlus 6T Mclaren Edition, Oppo’s 50W SuperVOOC or Mate 20 Pro’s 40W SuperCharge. Looking at these exciting charging technologies, Xiaomi also made up its market for disturbing the current market.
Today on Twitter-clone Weibo of China, the company has revealed a 100W ” Super Charge Turbo” technology.
It seems like Xiaomi has invested money and a lot of time for building a technology that depicts a notable upgrade in speed and power as compared to its competitors, who have upgraded charging technologies by a few degrees.
Xiaomi co-founder and president Lin Bin in Weibo post claimed that “Xiaomi engineers realized 100W fast charge, and filled the 4000mAh battery in 17 minutes! Is this technology awesome ?”
For you guys, here I am posting this amazing video that depicts how faster is Xiaomi’s charging technology as compared to that of Oppo.
As compared to Oppo’s R17 Pro with 50W input power, Xiaomi has just doubled the input power to 100W. Which means that the company has managed to reduce the charging time to half, which is incredible.
Lin Bin is yet to discuss the working of Super Charge Turbo technology but we can assume that the company might have utilized a dual-battery module, already used in Oppo R17 Pro.
Obviously, the charging brick would also be huge enough to hold the massive power output.
Moreover, the company needs to pack protections to help protect its devices from exploding or bursting.
One important thing is heat build-up during the charging process and the company might have used up “liquid cooling” to tackle such type of concerns.
