YouTube, Docs and Gmail knocked offline for an hour yesterday

YouTube, Gmail, AdSense and Docs are suffering a rare service outage with reason unknown yet, users are unable to access many of the company’s services.

The outage started at 12/14/20 4:55 PM, with Google sites returning server errors 500 when visited.

Users around the world reported started reporting problems with Gmail, Google Drive, the Android Play Store, Maps, and more.

Billions of individuals and millions of businesses rely on Google services from basic work apps such as email and calendars to professional usage like Docs.

Despite the widespread outage, Google’s service dashboard for its services didn’t reported any errors until now they’ve started reporting down status for their all services.
