What’s in the Box?

This headset comes with a user manual and detachable microphone, so everything is ready to go as soon as it arrives.

Technical Specs and Design

The H6 AmpliGame headset has a 50-millimeter driver and a frequency of 24 Bit/48kHz. It also has 7.1 support and three EQ modes. This makes it an excellent choice for any user seeking the best possible sound quality and sound profiles.

  • Connectivity Technology: Wired
  • Connector: USB Type-A
  • Driver Size: 50mm
  • Padding materials: Leatherette
  • Cable Length: 6.6ft (2m)
  • Compatible with: PC, macOS, Xbox One, and PlayStation consoles.

They’ve done an excellent job of maximizing the effects of the RGB LED lights on both sides, improving the visual experience of simple hardware. With its sleek design and powerful light show, the Fifine H6 is a perfect example.

Fifine H6 Build Quality

In terms of firmness and comfort, the leatherette foam padding on the ear cups and top headband feels well. The headband is also adjustable, allowing you to find the optimal fit for your head. The soft leather ear cups and headband are soft and squidgy, making them very comfortable to wear.

Despite being made of metal, the headset is surprisingly light, making it an excellent choice for those who want to wear it for extended periods.

The adjustable headband ensures a comfortable fit for long gaming sessions, and the detachable noise-canceling microphone enables easy communication during intense gameplay. It offers excellent build quality and is highly durable, making it suitable for those who need a reliable headset that can stand up to heavy use.

The Fifine Ampligame H6 headset is an essential tool for gamers who use gaming monitors and sits at their desks. Unfortunately, the USB cable provided with the headset is relatively short, so it may not be practical for those who prefer to game from their couch. For example, if the USB port is located far away from your seat, you’ll have trouble connecting the headset and won’t be able to enjoy a comfortable gaming experience.

I’ll admit that when I saw the price of the Fifine H6 gaming headsets, I was skeptical. They couldn’t possibly be any good for only $40, could they? I was pleasantly surprised to discover that they are not only well-made and comfortable, but they also have excellent sound quality.

Fifine H6 Audio Quality

If you’re looking for an inexpensive headset with decent clarity, the Fifine H6 is a decent option. However, don’t expect too much in the bass response – there’s a noticeable lack of thump from the low frequencies.

The headset is an excellent choice because it provides superior clarity and the ability to hear the instruments without distortion. This isn’t the best option if you’re looking for deep, low frequencies. The highs and mids are crisp and clear, but the lows fall short.

If you’re looking for a wider, sharper sound, you’ll want to turn on 7.1 support – it greatly improves the gaming experience. However, doing so will strip all bass low-frequency noise from the equation.

During my sound quality test, the H6 passed all tests except for the base test. This suggests that the base frequencies are not handled as well as other tones with this model.

When I tested this device, I noticed that while higher frequencies were handled well and sounded clear, low-frequency sounds at the very bottom of the range seemed to be muffled or distorted.

I tried 7.1 support while playing Days Gone. It improves the wider bases, and you can hear fuel entering the bike’s tank, but many surrounding sounds disappear.

Fifine H6 Inline remote features

The inline remote is a great way to enhance your gaming experience. It features a large volume-up, volume-down rocker switch, which allows you to adjust the audio levels with just a few button presses.

In the middle of that rocker switch is a 7.1 button – and it could be the key to unlocking a new level of sound quality.

The inline remote has several features that provide convenience and control over sound levels. One of these features is a mute switch for the microphone and a push button that switches headphones between the three modes listed below. This allows users to adjust their audio settings according to what they need at any moment without fumbling around with multiple devices or settings menus.

  • Gaming Mode
  • Movie Mode
  • Music Mode

Fifine H6 Mic Quality Test

The microphone is detachable; I wanted to do an audio test to see if this microphone could deliver on its promise of professional quality sound. So with some trepidation, I plugged it into my computer and ran through a few test recordings – and boy, was I surprised! The audio sounded so full and rich that it was hard to believe such great sound could come from such a reasonably priced headset’s mic.

Here is a sample of unprocessed, unedited audio; try it out and decide for yourself.

Fifine H6 Compatiblity

It is compatible with personal computers running macOS, Xbox One, and PlayStation 5 consoles, giving gamers worldwide an excellent choice for a high-quality headset. However, this product has some drawbacks with certain consoles like PlayStation 5 or Xbox One X.

The inline remote’s volume buttons do not work with the PlayStation 5 or the most recent Xbox console. EQ mode and Mic Mute with 7.1, on the other hand, work flawlessly. The Fifine H6 headset is one of many that have experienced this problem, which can be frustrating for gamers who want to quickly adjust their sound settings while playing on consoles.

  • PC (Mac OS and Windows): Works Fine
  • PlayStation 4: Works Fine
  • PlayStation 5: Volume Buttons Don’t Work
  • Xbox One X: Volume Buttons Don’t Work

Fifine H6 Verdict

The Fifine H6 AmpliGame Headset is ideal for any gaming setup. Its flexible design and clear sound quality improve your gaming experience and give you the most fun possible. The Fifine H6 enhances your gaming experience while offering superior comfort and durability.

The headset is ideal for PC gamers or desk users with little room to move around. This headset has a comfortable fit and an impressive mic, making it suitable for gaming sessions or business meetings. The cable, however, isn’t long enough for playing from the couch. The only downside is that low frequencies are not delivered well with the Fifine H6.

So if you’re looking for an affordable yet reliable headset, the Fifine H6 should be at the top of your list of headsets under $50!
